Use and installation method

Particularly recommended for fire risk areas with the presence of large number of people, due to its excellent fire retardant qualities and reduce fumes, toxic and corrosive gases emissions.


Reference Construction Products Regulation 305/2011 EU and Standard EN 50575:
Given its properties of limiting the development of fire and harmful fumes, the cable is suitable for the supply of electricity in buildings and other civil engineering works.

Installation conditions

  • Minimum installation temperature: 5°C
  • Recommended minimum bending radius: 6 times the cable diameter
  • Recommended maximum tensile stress: 50 N/mm² of the cross-section of the copper

Construction

  • Conductor: 
    • Class 1, solid, plain copper (cross-section ≤ 6 mm2)
    • Class 2, stranded wire, plain copper (cross-section ≥ 10 mm2)
  • Insulation: cross-linked polyethylene
  • Core wrapping: paper tape
  • Filler: LS0H thermoplastic (only for multi-core cables)
  • Sheath: LS0H polyolefin
  • Colour: grey
